Oscar 2014 Red Carpet

The 86th Annual Academy Award, -or we can call it as Oscar 2014- red carpet moment is the most worth-to-wait red carpet moment in the world. Both fashion people and others see, talk, and appreciate.
Let me congratulate Donatella Versace and her Italian fashion house for dressing lot of gorgeous people this year. You will love (or surprise) with Lady Gaga Versace sexy gown, it is the most human dress and thanks Donatella for embracing Gaga fashion look. Jada Pinkett Smith, Kate Hudson, and Goldie Hown are also mark her red carpet moment with Versace this year.
Talking about best dresses, you will agree that everybody's favorite and red carpet peacock, Lupita Nyong'o, is looking beyond beautiful in Prada, but yes we still want to see Lupita in bright colors like her 'signature'.
The Dior legion are predictable, Jennifer Lawrence dress is good for her but maybe we need more. But the interesting neckline in Charlize Theron black dress is awesome.
My true favorite is Portia De Rossi's Naeem Khan gown. Superb! Then we also love glamorous lady-like Cate Blanchett's Armani Prive, Anne Hathaway's Gucci and Emma Watson's Vera Wang are speak fabulous with young attitude,.
From so many beautiful dresses, you must be agree that Liza Minnelli's asymmetrical shoulder satin blue two-pieces outfit is the most blaaaah, and that blue hair is not working at all. Then Kerry Washingtons Jason Wu bed-sheet dress is not interesting. So many maternity gown and she choose to grab their bed sheet and table cloth then pin it. Come on, hire another stylist! Midriff section with touch of red in Anna Kendrick's J.Mendel gown is ruin everything! That black dress can be gorgeous without that part.

The 65th Emmy Awards Red Carpet

Best Dresses

I love the essence of spring/summer in Emmy's red carpet, everything are just light and simple without leaving the elegant track. The White dress with high slit and sheer bodice from J. Mendel on Kate Mara is my favorite, it's gorgeous and proper without being too hard and dated. In Claire Danes is Armani Prive beige lace gown, stunningly beautiful. The only negative comment is "Give Claire more boobs to fit the gown!"

Worst Dresses

Talking about not-so-good dress in red carpet, unfortunately, i found a bunch! But I think the worst is Escada black with nude tops dress on Jessica Lange. The ornament on the nude part is awful, even i thought it was a hairy chest! The other bad look is black cup on whimsy pastel floral gown from Honor in Zosia Mamet. What is point from adding the black cup bra? Then, I love velvet, its regally royal image, but not for red carpet moment. Believe me, that Naeem Khan on Connie Britton just look like old couch from medieval era.

Red Carpet Trends

I do agree with nymag.com that beige, dusty pink, salem, and soft neutral hues are the biggest trend on this red carpet moment. It's speak fragility, elegant, and restrained sexiness at the same times. The other trend are blue teal and jade green, but don't forget everybody's favorite, red.
