Lulu Lutfi Labibi - Jakarta Fashion Food Festival 2013

"The Savior of Heritage Brigade" is the tittle of Lulu Lutfi Labibi latest collection for Jakarta Fashion and Food Festival 2013. With main idea of balancing, Lulu try to make a gorgeous combination of east and west, traditional and modern, liberal and but understated, edgy yet feminine.
Lulu signature of traditional fabrics come in lurik, batik and ikat with modern touch of satin silk and chiffon. Deconstructive Japanese style properly matched with some Javanese ensembles in form of harem, draped vest and lurik outer. This is celebration of culture in global package.

Lulu Lutfi Labibi Campaign 2012

Lulu Lutfi Labibi is " a tube of fresh air" for Indonesian fashion industry. The new promising designer, have the perfect formula for Indonesian fashion; creating the beautiful traditional textiles in a modern - international taste and packaging.
The collection named "Tenun Untuk Kehidupan" or Ikat for Life, and the textile are originally from Tiga Batu Tungku,Timor Tengah Selatan. This project is a great collaboration between GEF-SGP and LAWE Jogja.
The collection include a fabrics blocked shirts and carrot pants for men and intricate pants and cropped tops, delicate blouses, asymmetrical dress and sleeveless coat for women.
