Anie Wardhana and Dedi Hertanto are brother and sister, designer of Delmora, Yogyakarta ased designer and specialist in kebaya or evening wear. For Jogja Fashion Festival, Delmora inspired by the contradiction of positive and negative, hard and soft, in "Black & White".
Using black and white abstract batik in 'kelengan' motif, the fabrics are created by them self. All of the cocktail and evening wear using draping technique with combination of cotton, chiffon-silk and satin.
We love the grande collection, but we're crazy in love with head pieces. Everything made from wire and metal with a giant corsage to balance the look.

ArieSanthi - Jogja Fashion Festival

Inspired by coral cliff flower in the southern coast of Yogyakarta, Tyas Santhi Fatmasari, presenting "Kembang Pereng" in Jogja Fashion Week.
Cocktail dress with her signature technique, draping and fabrics blocking looks beautiful, elegant, tough and dignified. The emerald green really boost the parang batik pattern and colors. The lace and embroidery accent create a feminine ambiance.
If you look closer, you will see how smart ArieSanthi manage the fabrics beautifully. I love the big flowy ruffles in the back and the green bow in the waist. Strong statement.

Ovi Febrianeti (Ivory) - Jogja Fashion Festival

Ovi Febrianeti, Jogja based designer from Ivory Boutique, presenting 'Secret garden' in Jogja Fashion Festival. Her secret gardens are sublime combination of hard and soft, traditional and modern, tribal and chic, edgy and sweet.
Fashion love contradiction, and Ovi give us the contrary by mixing 'tenun ikat', a traditional Indonesian fabrics with satin, chiffon and tulle. The total looks become dramatic by grande head piece, 'Midnight Spring" collection by Khoy Hattery.
I'm in love with ikat tops with chinoiserie key hole and ornate sheer-light-weight skirts. The body hugging long dress is completely show the richness of Indonesian ikat. But the stars in her collection is the three-pieces number; high waist pants, cropped top to show your fab abs and light-weight versatile outwear from chiffon.
