The British Moods
Thanks to Christopher Bailey. Without him, we may see British weather as gloomy and dark, but in his hands it becomes gorgeous melancholy.
This resort 2015 collection, maybe my most favorite Burberry collection. In this series, Bailey inspired by (once again) London weather, alongside with vintage book cover that he found and British legacy.
Military accents are quite strong in this collection. Some trench coat, the signature Burberry's design come in olive and khakis with military pocket accents. Typography as the hottest next trend appears in artsy way.
Bailey also add some resort lightness with delicate British laces. Faded hues, like an ombre shades with light weight fabrics really injects coolness. But after all, the long and lean silhouette still be the most interesting in Burberry collection.

Christopher Bailey showing his interests in arts by launch his latest collection for British legendary label, Burberry, for fall/winter 2014. The menswear collection, entitled "Painterly Journey", inspired by British artists; Duncan Grant and Lucian Freud.
Seeing piece by piece in this latest collection obviously a new thing in this style and British style. We know that Bailey always direct into dandy British style with slim suit, ties, and wrapped coat; but not this time. Everything getting lighter, free, boheme and artsy.
All models wearing fish net tanks to cover his body before added a flamboyant artsy prints; some abstract and geometrical, some floral. You will love the color combination. Fall hues like grey, brown, yellow mustard and pale dark green are the highlight. Then the total look added by scarf nor blanket over the shoulder but not essentially wrap the neck.
Coat and jacket are also be the star, but everything getting slouchy and casual with button down style. Some jackets come in aviator style with shearling accent. Other important key piece is huge hand bag from tapestry. It's like grabbing old carpet from British castle and transforming it into chic carriers.

Erotic English Rose! 
Christopher Bailey decided to presenting some pastel powdery hues in the Burberry spring 2014 collection. Using lot of Nottingham lace material, Bailey soften the spring and added some erotic drama with a sheer, veil-look collection. Minty green, powder blue and violet with baby pink and beige are dominated.
We always adore the silhouette, high waist pencil skirt and tuck-in fitted body blouse are always marvelous. But this season, strong outwear -the Burberry signature- reduce into some delicate cashmere jacket and coat. Another thing that I love so much about this collection is the front-panel sandals, gorgeous!
Just like an English Rose, this collection are just beautiful, fragile, and sensual at the same time.
