For fall 2014, Topman's design director, Gordon Richardson, decided to give a luxurious-goth with kinky leather-like accent for their loyal customer. The leather-like numbers, actually it's PVC, come in various form, a duffle coat with PVC panel on shoulder and pocket, double breasted jacket with leather with wide leather lapels, and a glossy black PVC pants. The other number, knitting, suitable for cold London weather. The aran sweaters with interesting texture and turtle neck are looking stylish yet comfortable. We will love the the ombre sweaters, an artsy gradation of black into red.
This British label continuing the wide legs pants from the previous season but the western style from, is almost gone, only one plaid tops with fringe accentuation. But I think, this season, Topman try to infuse some flamboyant style in their collection. The fine fitted body tees and transparent fabrics maybe their interpretation of flamboyant, but unfortunately we it's looks weird.
