Every inter-season; pre-fall or resort series, fashion people will always pay more attention to Chanel fashion show, it's called Métiers d'Art. What makes it so special? Well, Chanel is the big name in fashion, the collection is worth to be anticipated, the accessories and jeweleries are always stole the attention and the fact that Karl Lagerfeld always give a different view by traveling around the world. India, Scotland, Singapore, and now Dallas Texas is the place for this big show.
A mid-west ensemble, with western story, cowboy and native American Indian looks blend together with Chanel signature form. The tweed jackets, pearls accessories, light layering ruffles come together with fringes, feathers, denim, leathers, and Navajo blanket.
There are 94 numbers of collection plus 2 numbers wore by the son of fashion, Lagerfeld's muse, 4 year old Hudson Kroenig. 10 numbers on menswear are also awesome. But upon all of that heavy layering with lot of fringe, I adore the light sheer blue full skirt with native American tops. The little black jacket transform into a raw, cool, mid-west number, paired with leather or fringe items. The midriff bearing turtle neck tops under cropped blue blazer are just awesome, perfectly styled with multi chain pearl necklaces.
The finale numbers, decorate with lot of white feathers, more like American diva, Cher, than a Geronimo's queen. On menswear section, the civil-war coat with fancy epaulette is outstanding, but fringing knitwear with western style is too much.
All over it's beautiful show, perfect place, gorgeous collection, and Lagerfeld prove us once again, he's still one of fashion king.
