Punk Couture - Trend Fall/Winter 2013 Womenswear

The essence of street wear, the rebellious enchantment, the youngsters culture; are some of phrase we frequently heard in fashion industry lately. Fashion people are infatuated with this grunge, sometimes dark, sometimes messy trend. In Met Gala this year, red carpet transform into goth opulence. Sarah Jessica Parker wore spiky hairy headpiece for an instant punk-couture looks.
Leather, shredded accents, metal, studs and eyelets, red tartan, bombers jacket, and graffiti prints are dominated. From Paris, Hedi Slimane, the new Saint Laurent use it as his core design. Karl Lagerfeld also creates beautiful mix of Chanel signature, tweed, with punk element. Punk attitude in his cutting, silhouette and decoration create the tough Chanel looks.
In London, Jeremy Scott and J.W. Anderson using graffiti prints and others punk culture. Sarah Burton, release Alexander McQueen intricate ornate with poetic dark side. While Versace in Milan give us the new type sexiness, rebellious sensuality.
Diesel Black Gold and Anthony Vacarello loves to add spikes and metal studs. But the real punk looks maybe Junya Watanabe. A wonderful set and successfully extracted the punk culture.
