Masculine Side - Trend Fall/Winter 2013 / 2014 Womenswear

Masculine Side of Fashion.
Androgynous style maybe one of the most popular style in fashion. Ladies love to wear a masculine form of clothes, from a comfy denim pants to an elegant superb tux.
In fall/winter 2013/2014, androgynous transform into an anticipating trend. Designers, from Paris, Milan, London and new York using menswear material and manipulate them in womenswear section. If you are familiar enough with houndstooth, plaid and pinstripe, now prepare for herringbone and Prince of Wales checks that will be a big hit in fall.
Not only the masculine fabrics, menswear forms also being a big influence. Coat, long coat, suit and tux are showing in every runways. Fine tailoring (the essence of menswear) also use by lot of designer in their collection.
But the best thing from this trend is, how designer manipulate the fabrics. The masculine herringbone and Prince of Wales checks being draped, block with lace, combine with any light materials, trimmed with feather and combine with beads. This is the real androgynous, the blur space between menswear and womenswear.
