Plastic, the transparent material can obviously create some modern, fashion forward and futuristic but also sheer sexiness. If it combine with some feminine ladylike silhouette, you can see the best part of summer.
You can see plastic literally applied in coat or jacket like in Valentino, Lacoste or Emilio Pucci. You can also count the futuristic high-tech material like in Mugler, Versus, Miu Miu or Helmut Lang. The jelly-like plastic in Husein Chalayan and Carven are also marvelous. Plastic also can be the attractive applique and ornament like in Burberry Prorsum or the plastic paillettes like in Thakoon.
But the best wearable items is the accessories, from transparent bag in Simon Rocha, matchy duffel bag in Burberry or rounded wide hats in Chanel.
Since plastic is one of designers' favorite this season, why we don't try it.
